Privacy & cookies
How we handle data and which cookies this site uses.
Data controller
The data controller is Italian White Paper. For any privacy request, write to team@italianwhitepaper.com.
Data we collect
The public site requires no registration and has no contact form or comments. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address solely to send it to you. The legal basis is your consent; you may withdraw it at any time by writing to team@italianwhitepaper.com and your address will be deleted.
Cookies and similar technologies
The restricted editorial area uses a technical session cookie managed by Supabase Auth, set only when a staff member signs in. Google AdSense may use cookies or local storage for advertising and measurement: in countries subject to European rules, these technologies are managed by Google's CMP according to the visitor's choice.
You can consent, decline, or manage the proposed purposes individually. You can change your choice at any time through the Privacy and cookie settings link in the footer.
Advertising
The site is connected to Google AdSense. Ad placements, when active, stay limited to a few fixed positions — at the end of the home list, at the end of the article, in the footer, and at regular intervals within listings — and never appear inside the body of the text. We do not use Auto ads, nor interstitial, anchored or full-screen formats. Personalized ads are shown only after the visitor has provided the consent requested by the CMP; otherwise we do not enable limited or programmatic ads and no placement is filled. The configured advertising partner is Google, together with any mandatory technical providers identified in the CMP.
Anonymous measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated traffic statistics. The service uses no cookies and stores no identifiers that could track a person across different days or sites. We do not use Google Analytics.
Third parties involved in producing content
We use a few technology providers to produce our content; none of them come into contact with visitor data:
- Supabase — database hosting (European Union, eu-central-1)
- Anthropic — processes article text via API
- OpenRouter — alternative language-model provider for drafting
- Resend — sends internal notification emails after each pipeline run
Your rights
As a data subject you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. To exercise these rights, write to team@italianwhitepaper.com.
