Anas has launched its Safe Summer 2026 campaign, a plan to manage traffic during the summer. The presentation was streamed live on Thursday, July 16, at 11 a.m. According to data released by Anas, approximately 440 million trips are expected on roads managed by the company between July 20 and September 6. To ease traffic, 83% of roadworks will be suspended or closed from July 24 to September 7. The plan forms part of Anas's measures to reduce accidents and congestion during peak travel periods, particularly on summer departure and return weekends.
