Four minors aged between 15 and 17, all Italian, were arrested in flagrance by the Carabinieri of the Arese company and taken to the Juvenile Penal Institute Beccaria by order of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office of Milan. They are charged with kidnapping for extortion, illegal weapons possession, robbery in concourse, and injuries.

According to the investigators' reconstruction, the four approached two nineteen-year-olds in the Blu park on viale Sempione in Arese. After intimidating them with a machete, they hooded and kidnapped one of the two, ordering the other to procure drugs as ransom and threatening to kill the hostage otherwise.

The Carabinieri traced the kidnapping thanks to the testimony of the nineteen-year-old who was released and the analysis of mobile phones. The kidnapped young man was found in the park with a plastic bag on his head, robbed, and with minor injuries judged to heal in six days by the emergency room of the Garbagnate Milanense Hospital.

The four minors allegedly acted together with several accomplices currently being identified. Investigations continue in coordination with the Juvenile Judicial Authority to identify the other individuals involved and reconstruct the events that led to the kidnapping.
