The Pirelli Calendar 2027 is set in India, specifically in the Rajasthan region. The project was created by photographers Sølve Sundsbø and Avani Rai, daughter of renowned Indian photographer Raghu Rai.

The calendar features both professional models and ordinary people photographed in the streets, aiming to portray the country's layered and simultaneous reality. As described in the project's presentation, India is characterized by a multiplicity of worlds coexisting within a single space, where everything happens at once and one must wait for it to align.

The choice of India continues the Pirelli Calendar's tradition of combining fashion photography with cultural and social exploration, moving beyond the studio to engage with real landscapes and communities.
