The event is expected to be attended by prominent figures from the economic and institutional sectors, including Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi and Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy Adolfo Giorgetti. Meanwhile, the Council of Ministers, convened for July 14, is expected to appoint Guido Stazi as the next president of the financial markets regulator, nearly four months after the previous mandate expired. An economist specialising in independent authorities, competition and market regulation, Stazi has served as secretary general of the Italian Competition Authority since March 2022.
