A 19-year-old man, Youssef Rama Abdelaiz, of Egyptian origin, died after being stabbed on the night between in Crema, province of Cremona. According to the initial reconstructions, around 11:15 PM a confrontation broke out involving a group of people, including the victim. Despite his injuries, the young man attempted to flee but collapsed on a sidewalk nearby. Emergency medical services (Areu 118) arrived on the scene and transported him to the hospital, where he died shortly after admission.

Three young people, aged between 23 and 25, were placed under provisional detention as suspects of murder. They are of Italian and foreign nationality, with the foreign nationals legally resident in Italy, and all reside in the Cremasco area. After the incident, they left the provincial territory, moving through several provinces, before being located again in the Cremasco area and the Milan area.

Investigations by the Carabinieri of Crema and Cremona are ongoing to clarify the circumstances that led to the assault. According to investigators' hypotheses reported by some media, the confrontation may have been linked to a settling of scores, possibly connected to drug-related activities, though these leads remain under verification.

The mayor of Crema, Fabio Bergamaschi, posted a statement on Facebook calling for stronger law enforcement presence in the territory and greater state intervention to address recurring episodes of youth-related violence. His remarks reflect longstanding requests from the municipality for increased patrols and investigative capacity in the Cremasco area.
