Actress Fiorenza Marchegiani has died at the age of 73. Her most remembered role was that of Marta in the film "Ricomincio da tre" by Massimo Troisi.

During her career Marchegiani also appeared in several television productions, including the soap operas "Vivere" and "Incantesimo" and the series "Elisa di Rivombrosa."

The mayor of Osimo, a town with which the actress had ties, paid tribute to her memory and thanked her for her contribution to Italian culture.
