Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) claimed pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, recording a time of 1'44"361. The Italian driver edged out Max Verstappen (Red Bull) by 0"317 and Lando Norris (McLaren) by 0"440. Norris, however, serves a ten-place grid penalty and will start from thirteenth position.

George Russell (Mercedes) qualified fourth, 0"508 behind his teammate Antonelli. The Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton finished fifth and sixth respectively, more than half a second off pole position.
