During the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix weekend, Kimi Antonelli, the championship leader, set the fastest time in the evening free practice session, recovering after a first session (FP1) that ended in fifteenth position due to car problems. For Antonelli it was a turnaround after a difficult morning.

On the Ferrari side, Lewis Hamilton recorded the fourth-fastest time, while teammate Charles Leclerc finished in eleventh position. The Maranello team, coming off a strong performance at Silverstone, is looking for confirmation on the Belgian circuit.
