The Civil Protection Department has issued a bad weather warning affecting Central-Northern Italy. An orange alert has been set for Tuscany and a yellow alert for nine regions. Forecasts indicate rain on Sunday, followed by the return of heat with a fourth heat wave.

Intense rainfall has been recorded in Tuscany, particularly a cloudburst in Lucca. In Prato, a couple was rescued after being trapped in a car. Two hikers were recovered along the Reno river. Alert notices extend as far as Campania.

Regarding agricultural activities, grape harvesting has begun in Sicily and is running ahead of the usual schedule in several areas of the country.
