Actress Kaylee Hottle has died at age 19 in a road accident. The vehicle she was traveling in, according to reconstructions, ended up in a ditch in Maryland.

Hottle was known for the role of Jia in the film «Godzilla vs. Kong», where she played a young girl able to communicate with Godzilla through sign language. Deaf from birth, she made her television debut in the series «Magnum P.I.» before moving on to film. According to some outlets, she was regarded as a reference figure for the deaf community.
