Rai presented the new season's programming at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona, under the slogan "Rai c'è". The event, led by CEO Giampaolo Rossi, was reduced in scope, with the Parliamentary Oversight Committee for Rai present in a diminished capacity.

Rossi rejected the narrative of a decline in Rai's programming, calling the claim "unfounded". He outlined the main features of the upcoming season: new channels, more information content, the launch of the new channel "Italiana", and the return of Benigni and Fiorello to Rai screens.

Regarding programming slots, Sottile was moved to the 2 PM time slot, while Sal da Vinci was assigned to prime time. The role of Mara Venier's successor remains undefined: the slot for Sciarelli is still open, with Rossi stating he hopes to continue working with her on other projects. The future of "Chi l'ha visto?" also remains uncertain.

Stefano De Martino was confirmed as artistic director of the Sanremo Music Festival also for 2028. De Martino announced his intention to make the festival more international, saying he is working on the return of international stars. Regarding a possible appearance by Vasco Rossi at the Ariston Theatre, De Martino said the artist "has the keys whenever he wants". A novelty announced for the Eurovision night is that the big-name artists will perform as in their own concerts.

Rossi also addressed the topic of the Board of Directors, saying that not nominating Agnes as president of the guarantee body would be a mistake. On the "Telemeloni" program, the CEO called it a notable marketing operation.

According to the director of entertainment Stefano Coletta, a return of Amadeus to Rai is not excluded. Among the few new additions to the season is Brumotti's debut, while there are open questions regarding Monteleone's role.
