A Ryanair flight experienced moments of fright after the rupture of a window following an engine malfunction. The incident occurred a few minutes after takeoff on a flight that, according to La Stampa, had departed from Thessaloniki and was headed to Munich, in Bavaria. According to the information gathered, a technical failure in the engine would have caused the detachment of some fragments that hit the fuselage and broke a window. A passenger was partially sucked out of the aircraft, with head and shoulders outside, as reported by Il Giornale, and was held back by other people on board to avoid worse consequences, as reported by La Stampa. The aircraft then returned in emergency. Four people were taken to the hospital. Investigations are underway to ascertain the causes of the incident.
