Footballer Alessandro Bastoni is under investigation for child prostitution. According to a Milan Prosecutor's Office inquiry, Bastoni allegedly exchanged thousands of messages between 2020 and 2026 with Alessio Salamone, an intermediary for the escort agency "Ma.De." in Cinisello Balsamo. In a June 2020 chat, following an Inter match, Bastoni allegedly wrote to Salamone: "For after the match, at my house... let's drink there", requesting the organization of an evening. In subsequent messages, the player allegedly stated: "I won't have sex tonight" and added: "Everything must stay quiet, I'm telling you... Let's at least not leave traces". In another conversation from July 2020, Salamone allegedly wrote: "The minor I think wants to have sex with you. She asks me: what does Alessandro think of me?". Bastoni allegedly responded by asking if there were "places to hide". The girl involved, aged 17 years and 8 months at the time, allegedly slept at Bastoni's house. Through his lawyer, Bastoni denies "categorically" having had "paid relations, especially not with a minor". The young woman, now 24 and active as an image girl between Milan and Dubai, declared to magistrates: "I am not a prostitute, I did not engage in prostitution and I did not take money from him. I met him, I went there, but I am not a prostitute". The inquiry also concerns the "Ma.De." agency, accused of facilitating and exploiting prostitution. A witness stated she observed footballers having sexual relations with girls in rooms of the house managed by the agency. She reported that Salamone sent photos of girls to players to allow them to choose, and that payments for parties ranged from 10,000 to 15,000 euros, with an additional 1,000 euros required for suite use. Another chat, dated March 2025, shows an exchange between Salamone and a footballer from another Milan squad, not under investigation, with language considered offensive towards women. Bastoni will be questioned by prosecutors accompanied by his lawyer Salvatore Scuto and will have the right not to respond. Salamone is defended by lawyer Lucio Portaro.
