The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has filed a request for committal to trial for 74 individuals within the "clients" branch of the Equalize investigation, concerning alleged dossier compiling and unauthorized access to law enforcement databases. According to the prosecution, over 800 people were reportedly subjected to surveillance.

Among the 74 individuals for whom prosecutors seek trial are Enrico Pazzali, former head of the Equalize investigative agency, computer expert Nunzio Samuele Calamucci, Giacomo Tortu, brother of sprinter Filippo Tortu, banker Matteo Arpe, and Stefano Speroni, Eni's legal affairs director.

Among those allegedly subjected to surveillance are also public figures, including actor Riccardo Tognazzi, sprinter Marcell Jacobs, and former television personality Fabrizio Corona.

The request for committal to trial represents a preliminary stage of the criminal proceedings: it will now be up to the preliminary hearings judge to assess the evidence against the suspects and decide whether or not to order the committal to trial.
