US President Donald Trump has ordered the suspension of bombing campaigns against Iran after nearly two weeks of increasingly intense airstrikes. Trump stated that negotiations with Iran are ongoing and claimed that without his intervention Tehran would have obtained nuclear weapons.

Iranian armed forces, through spokesperson General Akraminia, announced the suspension of their raids, describing them as a retaliation operation. Tehran's decision reportedly came after a warning from US Central Command and in connection with the scarcity of available air defenses, factors that may have facilitated a return to diplomacy.

According to media reports, only one American in three supports the war, a figure that may influence the administration's midterm political calculations.

Meanwhile, Ukraine launched an attack with approximately one hundred drones against Moscow. The city's mayor reported that most of the drones were neutralized before reaching the city, though a logistics center belonging to the company Wildberries was struck. Kyiv also attacked an Iranian merchant vessel in the Caspian Sea, an episode that the Kremlin described as a dangerous development.

In the Donetsk region, Russian bombings caused four deaths and eighteen injuries, according to media reports.

Ukrainian President Zelensky, who arrived in the United States after a visit to Burnham, met with Trump and stated that the war will end with a dignified peace.
